AchtBerlin – A New Approach to Coworking

The project developed for AchtBerlin is a modern coworking space that harmoniously combines the industrial character of the building with a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere for work and collaboration.

Building on the existing architectural structure, we used exposed concrete elements as a backdrop for warm wooden finishes and soft, rounded furniture forms. This combination allowed us to strike a balance between rawness and coziness, giving the space an elegant yet relaxed character.

We also designed two multifunctional zones that enhance the flexibility and usability of the entire space:

– The comfort zone, inspired by local cafés, offers cozy seating, curtains, and lush greenery – perfect for informal meetings, conversations, or relaxed work sessions in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
– The workshop area, set on a slightly lowered level, is subtly separated from the main space by a lightweight pergola with plants. This spatial distinction allows for a greater sense of calm and focus. Its layout is divided into two segments, enabling various uses such as workshops, presentations, or events – increasing the overall versatility of the coworking environment.

AchtBerlin is a thoughtful transformation of space – one that supports productivity, creativity, and authentic human connection.
