Paper & Tea – An Inspiring Office in the Heart of Berlin

In the very center of Berlin, within the prestigious AchtBerlin office complex, PAPER & TEA has opened its new flagship office – a space we had the pleasure of designing from the ground up. This is the brand’s first realization of a shared space that combines functionality with inspiring design and a deeply rooted identity.

Our studio was responsible for both the conceptual and execution design, fully reflecting the PAPER & TEA philosophy. We created a workplace that not only supports daily productivity but also inspires and builds an experience centered around the world of tea and design.

The project draws on the japandi philosophy – minimalism, simplicity, and natural elegance. The interior is based on harmonious wood tones and soft textures inspired by washi paper. Organic materials are showcased in numerous vertical elements, complemented by carefully selected details: a tea bar, meticulously crafted tables, relaxation zones with soft furnishings, and shelving that highlights tea culture.

We also designed areas for private conversations, ensuring comfort during meetings, as well as a dedicated greenery zone whose aesthetics are inspired by Japanese gardens – incorporating natural stone and subtle accents.

This office is more than just a workspace – it’s an expression of the brand’s cohesive identity and a testament to how design can support work culture, mindfulness, and everyday comfort.
